This dataset contains records of an experimental research project (BioE6-CEIC 1595) on the breathing pattern and the energetic cost of walking in pregnant women during the last trimester of gestation. The experimental trials were performed in a sample of 31 urban women, aged 28 to 44 years, in the 28th and 32nd weeks of gestation. The dataset contains some ventilation parameters (oxygen uptake, carbon dioxide output, breathing frequency, respiratory exchange ratio) of the females recorded in the walking tests during the 28th and 32nd weeks of gestation. All the experiments were performed indoors, at the BioEnergy and Motion Lab (LabBioEM) of National Research Center on Human Evolution (CENIEH, Spain), in 2016 and 2017. The description of the recorded variables is included in the data and document files.es_ES
