| Abstract: | The Aïn Beni Mathar-Guefaït basin stands as a crucial zone for archaeological and paleontological studies in the eastern of Morocco, where systematic surveys and excavations have been underway since 2006. This work is part of a collaborative research project between Mohammed Premier University in Oujda, Morocco, and IPHES-CERCA in Tarragona (Spain). This research has unveiled over 30 sites, spanning from the Pleistocene to the Holocene (Sala-Ramos et al. 2022). |
