Abstract: Sediments exposed by the Omo River produce an abundant fossil record of 1 to 3 million-year-old terrestrial faunas, when the genus Homo first evolved and the eastern African robust hominids first appear. The Omo Group Research Expedition (OGRE)’s fieldwork since 2006 has recovered dozens of new isolated dental specimens that add to those already known.
