dc.description.abstractIn the low valley of Manzanares river, south of Madrid, is located the Butarque Complex Terraceformed by piling up of alluvial deposits of the Upper Pleistocene. In Perales del Río they have beenexcavated and picked up industries of the Middle Palaeolithic mainly in flint, in the sites of Los Estragales1, 2 and 3, dated by TL and OSL between the Eemien (5e) and MIS 4. The terraces overlapped with theButarque Complex Terrace, at +11-12 m, +8m and La Gavia II, they have been deposited during theHeinrich events H4, H2 and H1, of agreement with the luminiscence datings.es_ES
